Drive from Vlora to Apollonia. Guided tour of the ancient city, which was founded in 588 BC by Greeks from Corinth on asite initially occupied by Illyrian tribes and was perhaps the most important of the several classical towns known as Apollonia.

After that our trip takes us to Gjirokastra, which is UNESCO protected. Visit to the castle, which stands out above the city as a balcony, providing the possibility for visitors to enjoy the beautiful landscape. The castle houses the National Museum of Weapons, which preserves all the kinds of weapons used and produced by the Albanians from antiquity.

On our wayback, we stop at Uji I Ftohte, (Cold Water) is a tourist area 8 km south of the city ofTepelena. It has the name "Cold Water" because the area is dominatedby natural-rocky springs where the water always flows cold and clean.

Before we head back to Vlora, we stop in Bylis, an ancient city located in the region of Illyria. The remains of Byllis are situated north-east of Vlora, 25 kilometers from the sea. According to the legend, the city was built by Murmidons under Neoptolemus, son of Achilles, returning from the Trojan War.
