Meeting point is at the reception of your hotel. In the morning we head to the picturesque town, which is connected with the national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg. As a little boy he was taken and raised by the Turks. He became one of the best general who fought on the sultan’s side.We will visit the remains of his castle, which was built during the 5^th and 6^th centuries. Here emerges the strength and the power of the great warrior, from here he took control of the country. Inside the castle is Scanderberg's museum, nearby Ethnographic Museum is located in a large house, originally one of the city's most influential families. Here you can see how people lived during Ottoman time and how their society worked.

You can buy presents for your loved ones at the old Turkish Medieval bazaar.

Then we will travel to Tirana, where we will take a ride on a cable car that is unique in Albania. We head to the National Park of Dajti Mountain. In there, you can enjoy panoramic views, try local cafes or ride a horse. Optional lunch, sightseeing and head back to the city.

After that we will enjoy a guided tour of the Capital city, Tirana. At first, we will visit the Mosque of E’them Bey. This beautiful stoned mosque is unique as the exterior and interior is all decorated with beautiful frescoes. Next door is The Clock Tower dated 1821 and in its 200 years of existence it became the symbol of the city.

After that we will we go along side state buildings which house the many offices of the state infrastructure. We will visit the old “Block” area, which was a part of the town, where only the communist leaders used to live.

OPTIONAL a visit at BunkArt2, it is built on three levels and provides an overview of the police force looking as far back as the 1913, a few months after the proclamation of Independence up to the year of 1991, it is a history marked by violence, torture, imprisonments and martyrs.

Later we return to your hotel.
